Bruno Massel Jr's DD/AT Cobalt runs an Ecotech with a huge turbo. It runs 7 flat in legal NHRA trim, at over 180 MPH. I shot this it the Route 66 Nationals in Joliet, Il. this year.

I believe it's technically called the Ecotec. No matter, that's an incredible machine. I'd love to know more about it.

Brain cramp, of course it's Ecotec. I live in Geneva, Il. I'm a photographer for a car guy web site, I get press passes for events around the Midwest. Standing next to the wall, the funny cars and top fuelers felt like getting hit in the chest with a cannonball. But this car had a shriek that would about make your ears bleed, even with ear plugs and hearing protectors.
