Hi all,
Was doing a bit of internet cruising over the weekend and spotted this.
Claiming 30hp and 15% fuel reduction GUARANTEED
What are your thoughts
JET V-Chip Installation Instructions
Note: Please read the instructions carefully and be sure to understand every step before installing the JET V-chip!
Instructions:
Step #1- Please make sure that the engine of your vehicle is turned off and remove the key from the ignition.
Step #2- Disconnect both positive and negative battery terminals. (If you are not sure where the battery terminals are,
refer to your owner's manual), some ECUs may still detect system changes even with the key removed and Engine
light may come on. The battery terminals must be disconnected to prevent from any physical injuries and to prevent
from shorting circuits.
Step #3- Now you have to locate the IAT (intake air temperature) sensor. The IAT sensor is located between the air
intake or the air box and the throttle body (if you are not sure or cannot locate the IAT sensor, refer to your owner's
manual, consult with an auto mechanic technician, or your dealer) if you are not sure you might locate the wrong
sensor.
Step #4- IAT sensor often integrated with MAF or MAP sensors and can have 4-7 wires, Separate IAT always have 2
wires, JET V-chip connects to both IAT sensor wires one are signal other are ground, if you have integrated
MAF+IAT or MAP+IAT please look sensor wires diagram that we add to find out what wires are IAT one, if you
have other sensor diagram or just want confirm correct wiring for your car please contact us.
Step #5- Take the JET V-Chip and connect Blue and Yellow wires to your IAT sensor wires, use red connectors that
help connect wires easy without cutting, also connect Black wire of the chip to body of the car or battery negative
terminal.
Step #6- Now remove protective film from back side of the JET V-chip to mount it to some place under the hood,
best are on AIR Box or other area but don’t mount on the Engine or any moving parts!
Step #7- Connect back both positive and negative battery terminals and You ready to go!

car, to avoid risking lost the warranty. Than you may simple install it again!
