I bet it makes the car run rich by fooling the ECU into thinking there's more airflow than there really is. This doesn't work and will probably lead to your car failing emissions as well.

Looking at the wiring diagrams would guess its just a resistor to produce a higher output from the IAT. And why to the 12 volt line, these guys are idiots, ECU operates off of five volts, could fry these sensors.

Ha, what really works is taping a cow magnet to your injector fuel line, super energizes your fuel for far better performance.

We use to have a good FTC to keep all this crap off the market, but now every guy for himself, well we did want less government and somehow imagined this would be the likes of the EPA and IRS. Sure a bunch of crap on the market today, legal to advertise it, sell it, but is against certain EPA rules to use it.

And like con artist say, a sucker born every minute. First component to fry with this POS is your catalytic converter, I see they are not accepting any liability for installing this thing. Least they are warning you first.

Which, by doing so, will lower fuel economy.

Chips like this are all useless bullshit. The last time a chip was useful was back when ECUs took PROMs.

Reminiscent of the short-lived "electric supercharger".

It looks like it's to trick the ECU into thinking the intake temperature is different. I can't see how that could make the engine run better without sacrificing something else. It certainly couldn't do anything a tune couldn't do.

Yep, the theory was to make the sensor think the air is colder. In the Century/Regal forums they just extended the IAT sensor into the fender. I think ZZP and WOT was the 2 that had the already made extension. Usually people went CAI when doing this kinda like how Cobb and Grimmspeed for my Project car just shields the MAF from engine bay heat by placing it in the "box"
