Missing rubber seal from kit when recieved. Is this something i can get from a local autoparts store..autozone,advance,napa?
Just as a note, I replied to Joey via e-mail. The rubber seal, if anyone needs to replace it or it's missing, is a 1/2" ID x 7/8" OD nitrile/BUNA-N seal. Should be available at local hardware stores, but if you find yours is missing or you need a replacement, just shoot me a PM and I'll mail you one free of charge.

Just bought your V2 kit XR, my car started spilling a bit of oil near the valve cover gasket and near the burst disc. I think the disk is still good as I have no CEL, issing sound or lean warnings.. anyway thanks a lot for providing us with all this information. I've just learned more on closed loop pcv systems for turbocharged applications than I could never had imagined. This orange ****** is one of the worst engineered things I've seen.

Some changes have been coming to these kits as of this year that I've been too busy to announce. I figured I'd announce it here.

The old adapter was smaller, and had a lip on the bottom that would rest on the washer. When tightened, the washer would flare a bit on the edges. This never proved to be a problem in the 1000 kits I shipped with the original adapter, as the rubber seal inside provides a perfect seal and the outer washer is only really there to prevent the adapter from digging into the plastic when tightening, but I always wanted to find a better solution to that bit.

Old design:

For the new design, I was able to source an SAE spec extra thick adapter. The walls on this adapter are much thicker, but the thread is also longer, and the base of the thread is completely flat.

To match this adapter, I'm also using a thicker, wider, military spec stainless washer. The end result is a completely flat, flush fit:

In addition to the above changes, I've also transitioned all of my V2 kits and part of the components for the V1 kits (which will be phased out as I sell old stock), to 100% made in the USA fittings. I discovered that the fittings I used to use were imported after I began having consistency issues with one of the fittings I was ordering.

As a result of the upgraded adapter, the upgraded exterior washer, the switch to Made in the USA fittings, and the $0.45 increase in shipping cost per box, I'm not going to be raising the prices of the PCV fix kits. I'm trying my best here to keep these affordable while maintaining high quality and making improvements as I'm able to.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

Just purchased my V2 kit, my wifes 14 cruze LT is acting up and check valve is gone as well. Hopefully im able to successully install it myself.
Thanks! Just dropped off 5 kits this morning so I'm sure yours was one of them. If you run into any issues, just let us know!

Hey Guys, Im new here signed up a while ago and i have been back since until now. I was just on another thread regarding the PCV. I have a 2012 LTZ RS. 115K miles. I have replaced the valve cover at 100K and both Catalytic converters and some smooth plastic hose with a valve in it that runs on top of the valve cover ( it was a while ago not sure of the name) Anyhow. I am getting oil pushing through the oil cap down on to the exhaust manifold. I assume this is the PCV starting to fail. After skimming through this thread i see someone has made a fix for the PCV. Is this the onetime fix no problem solution? And if so can i get the parts list and where to purchase them.
It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not certain if the issue you have is PCV related, but it very well might be. First thing I would do is perform the checks in this thread:

https://www.cruzetalk.com/forum/34-...4l-turbo/192442-2011-2016-cruze-1-4-pcv-valve-cover-intake-manifold-issues.html

I have links for buying the PCV fix kit in post one of this thread. I won't publish the parts required for the V2 kit because one of them can't be purchased within a reasonable time frame and the others are only available through select distributors that increase the kit cost including shipping to over what I'm charging for it. The parts for the V1 kit, if you want to go that route, are available in the tutorial for the V1 kit, also listed in post 1 of this thread. To reach the beginning of this thread, click here:

https://www.cruzetalk.com/forum/34-...-2011-2016-cruze-sonic-trax-1-4l-turbo-intake-manifold-pcv-check-valve-fix.html

So far, my PCV fix kit has proven to be a one time solution. Nobody has had to replace that check valve yet.

Awesome thank you. I will go check my symptoms and get back with you. I dont need to go locate all of the parts if you sell it in a package deal. If it works then i will be purchasing it from you. I would rather do the V2 than V1 if it is proven as you say. I am in no way doubting you. I appreciate your response in a timely manner.
Now its up to me to figure it out. Ill tell you between keeping up with my Duramax and now this. It is feeling like i am becoming a full time mechanic. HAHAHA

Just installed a V2 kit on a buddies car today and he’s quite impressed with how it runs now compared to when he got the car a few years ago.

A big thanks to @XtremeRevolution for coming up with this fix. I have close to 20k with it on my own car and it has never missed a beat since.

Thanks for reporting back! I'm glad it's running well! It's crazy how many aspects of this engine that silly check valve affects.

I know. The guy I put the last one in had already started replacing sensors before he called me. When he ran into a brick wall with trying to find one of them is when he called. He was very happy with how it ran afterwards stating it hadn’t ran that good since the day he got it.

Well it's been about 7 weeks since installing this and I wanted to check back in. Everything seems to be going well so far! Prior to this fix, we were going through ~1.25 qts of oil every month. I just checked the oil a couple weeks ago and it seems to be full still! Performance seems to be improved, though it's difficult to gauge performance and mileage with it being as cold as it's been in Michigan the last couple months.

Thanks again to XR for making this possible!

Hey Xtreme,

Just wanted to pop in and say my V2 install went as well as can be expected with an even better outcome. Local mechanic wanted $300 to replace the valve cover (and not fix to true problem). After replacing the valve cover and installing the V2 PCV kit on my stock intake manifold (orange valve was MIA), the 2012 Cruze runs like new at 105k. Thanks a million for the kit and elbow grease that went into the solution. Side note, should I be concerned if there was a minor bit of what appears to be oil in the throttle body? No significant buildup, just a little wet around the valve openings. I also managed to break my ignition coil connector in the process, but I don't foresee it falling off anytime soon... Thanks again!

Great to hear it's all working well!

No worries about the oil in the throttle body; that's totally normal.

I'm scared to do this kind of work to my car, I've only ever messed with stereo/wiring before! But I'm sick and effing tired of the drop of MPG that happened three years ago, that and a few other things that all seem to match the symptoms of the pvc valve being the issue on my 2012 Eco.
