Is the one option that was not on Mama's Lil blue was the chrome body side trim. It literally had every available option except for the chrome side trim when we bought it, which was an LPO option at the time in December.
I tried to buy it from the dealership and through Chevy online and was told I could not buy it because it was LPO only... and had to be ordered with the vehicle.
Then a few weeks ago I got an email from Chevy saying it was now available and I could order it online through Chevy online and even gave me a discount code. So I proceeded to make the order and it did not give me an option to ship to my home address, but rather I had to choose up dealer and pick it up at the dealership.
So after we could gone by I went to the dealership and said hey guys where is my body trim and they had no clue what I was talking about. I showed them the printout from the online order with the order number and the part number and they still had no idea what I was talking about!
They said they had no way to pull it up by the order number because it was ordered online and not through them. So then I asked Parts guy, who knows me intimately because I bought $2,000 worth of parts and accessories for the Silverado back in the summer. And I've also bought some other accessories such as the chrome sill plates and tried to find better floor mats for the Cruze since then. (Went with Weather Tech.)
Anyhow... I finally got them to pull the part number up and they showed negative one in their system and said they still couldn't order the parts. Of course when you order through Chevy online there is absolutely no phone number or way to contact them to check on an order, none, zero, NADA, zip, nein nein nein!!! The only number on the invoice slash receipt from Chevy online was the number for the local dealership.
So anyhow I've called Chevrolet multiple times and I call the dealership and stop by multiple times and finally after about 3 weeks I got a call from the parts manager that said my new parts were at the dealership. I chit you not!
Weirdest experience I've ever had trying to buy parts. Although... I did get a 20% discount so take that with a grain of salt.
ANYWHOOOO....
I grabbed a couple of quick shots of Mama's Little Blue what's I got it put on there and I've got to say I think they look pretty snazzy. Sorry for the dark shots as I was literally sitting in the driveway using my twin head halogen so I could see what I was doing.
Got this one the next day while she ran in the drugstore.
Now it's got everything we can throw at it. Including $700 worth of Hüper Öptik ceramic tint (including 70% on the windshield and 20% on the sunroof), XPel Ultimate ppf in all the door jambs, (fronts topped with stainless/chrome OEM Cruze sill plates) and WeatherTech mats front, rear and FINALLY they make one for the cargo area on the hatch.
