Parking Lights indicator

Hi. 2014 Cruze. Not sure if this is normal or not. The parking lights indicator stays on regardless of what node i have the knob on. This is a pic, knob is on Auto, it’s daytime yet the green indicator comes on and stays that way while driving.

Canadian spec Cruze might use that indicator for Daytime running lights, too. I take it you havent owned this car for very long?

Obvious question - but have you had someone look at the lights from outside when the indicator is on?

If it's on, and the lights aren't, you have a problem.

If the lights are on, you might have a problem, but whether that is a failed sensor or a legal requirement I don't know.
