Interesting because I never saw one for less than $2600.. Maybe the volume of Cruzes going to the scrap yards is increasing

Yes I have a metal thermostat and hoping I can swap the wax opening mechanism over from the original GM unit. I will hope to post my finding after the holiday on how well it works.
The cars are now generally quite old if you remember that Gen1's newest year is almost 8 years old now... The oldest ones are 13+ years old. They weren't expensive when they came out so if anything happens to them then they are "total loss".

FRANKH PLEASE EXCUSE MY CAPS AS I EXPLAINED WHEN I FIRST POSTED MY CAPS ON MY LAPTOP ARE ON PERMANENTLY BECAUSE MY KEYBOARD IS BROKEN AND NO I AM NOT YELLING AT ANYONE , AND MAYBE FOR CHRISTMAS MY WIFE MIGHT BUY ME ONE SHE SAYS, I CAN ONLY HOPE, BUT I AM USED TO IT NOW SO IF SEE WOULD RATHER BUY THE GRAND KIDS THINGS THAT IS ALRIGHT WITH ME, AND I JUST BOUGHT A 1100 ENGINE SO I WILL NOT BE BUYING ONE ANYTIME SOON THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING CRUZE COMMUNITY
