I HAVE A 2012 WITH A 1.4 TURBO IN IT, I BOUGHT IT FROM A FRIEND OF A FRIEND FOR A STARTER CAR FOR MY DAUGHTER, AT THE TIME IT SEEMED A REASONABLE PRICE AT $2,000 WITH ONLY 170,000 MILES ON IT AND THE GUY WHO I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID THAT THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH IT WAS THE RADIATOR LEAKKED AND WAS BAD, WELL I DID NOT EVEN QUESTION HIM AND BOUGHT A NEW ONE AND INSTALLED IT, WELL THE PROBLEM I HAVE NOW IS THAT WHEN I START IT AND HAVE IT RUNNING TO BURP IT, RIGHT ALMOST INSTANTLY I NOTICE SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE ANTIFREEZE RESORVOIR AND IT IS NOT EVEN HOT ENOUGH TO MAKE THAT KIND OF STEAM YET, IT DOES HAVE A LITTLE DIFFERENT KIND OF SMELL BUT I CANNOT RECONIZE IT, AND I THOUGHT THE RESORVOIR WAS FULL SO I PUT THE CAP ON IT AND WENT AROUND THE BLOCK AND CAME HOME AND IT WAS OVERHEATING BUT IT DID NOT SHOW IT ON THE GAUGE INSIDE, NOW THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID THAT HE HAD A GUY VERY RECENTLY REPLACE THE HEAD GASKET, WATERPUMP, STARTER, SPARKPLUGS AND THE VALVE COVER, I AM SORRY GUYS FOR BEING SO DUMB BUT I AM NEW TO THE CRUZE SCENEAND JUST DO NOT KNOE ANYTHING ABOUT THEM, BUT I HAVE BEEN A LIFE LONG GM OWNER, I PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR GUYS KNOWLEDGE AND PATIENTS, AND I AM SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS MY LAPTOP KEY BOARD IS F--KED UP SO PLEASE EXCUSE THE CAPS THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AHEAD OF TIME

I have a 2012 with a 1.4 turbo in it, i bought it from a friend of a friend for a starter car for my daughter, at the time it seemed a reasonable price at $2,000 with only 170,000 miles on it and the guy who i bought it from said that the only thing wrong with it was the radiator leakked
and was bad, well i did not even question him and bought a new one and installed it, well the problem i have now is that when i start it and have it running to burp it, right almost instantly i notice smoke coming out of the antifreeze resorvoir and it is not even hot enough to make that kind of steam
yet, it does have a little different kind of smell but i cannot reconize it, and i thought the resorvoir was full so i put the cap on it and went around the block and came home and it was overheating but it did not show it on the gauge inside,
now the guy i bought it from said that he had a guy very recently replace the head gasket, waterpump, starter, sparkplugs and the valve cover, i am sorry guys for being so dumb but i am new to the cruze sceneand just do not knoe anything about them,
but i have been a life long gm owner, i please ask for your guys knowledge and patients, and i am sorry about the caps my laptop key board is f--ked up so please excuse the caps thank you for your help ahead of time
