2012 Cruze LT trunk lid won't stay up

The trunk lid on my 2012 cruze won't stay up. You have to be very mindful when accessing the trunk or it will fall and hit you in the head. I haven't seen any posts on the issue. Curious as to what might fix the issue.

I believe there are a pair of torsion springs that keep it open - one or both may have broken.

They're both intact and it doesn't look like there's away to adjust them.

There's not - it's possible they just are worn out and need to be swapped out.
