Hello,
my girlfriend has a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze LT with Mylink.
issues so far
first picture below is the one she has. 2nd picture is from the ebay post. They are clearly 2 different systems, I had no idea. Ebay offers a "compatibility guaranteed" check based on just the year and model and I didn't check about the sound system options and the mylink thing (I still don't know what mylink was)
Main issues are audio quality and microphone. For the microphone I read a post on how to use the built in from the car. I'll consider that. For the music skipping, I think I can't do anything about
My questions. Given the original Mylink system she has with the bigger screen, and assuming she has the 9 speaker system. Did I get the incorrect Android radio system? And if yes, is there any recommended alternative?
The seller is offering good customer support, but not sure if they can do anything about the issues
Sorry if these have been discussed before, I spent a lot of time reading but didn't see a match for some of the conditions
thank you

- factory steering wheel controls
- no rear camera
- We replaced it with this Car Apple Carplay Radio For Chevy Cruze 2009-2015 Android 13 GPS Stereo + Camera | eBay
issues so far
- microphone terrible quality, phone calls are impossible. I can kind of hear her but I miss 70% of the conversation
- if using maps and spotify at the same time, the music skips and makes a weird sound for a fraction of a second (this is not installation issue I think, it's just the quality of the unit I guess (not good enough processor maybe, nothing I can do)
- audio quality. Google maps sounds really strange- I would say not an issue. Music sounds very lacking. I am totally unclear on what sounds systems are available for the cruze and what she had originally. She has a center speaker + 6 other visible speakers. Nowhere it says Pioneer. Not sure if there are 2 subwoofer in the back, I wasn't aware of those until few minutes ago and her car is not here to check. How do I know? Is the presence of the center speaker enough to say she has the 9 speaker system instead of the 6 (and assume the 2 subs are in the back), even if I don't see Pioneer written anywhere?
- - if she does in fact have the factory upgraded 9 speaker system, is the Android Radio I bought the incorrect one? Any recommendations to get instead?

- none of the climate controls work
- steering wheel controls work except for answering call (it opens onstar menu, I read about it in other forums)
