Good evening. I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT with the 1.4 L turbo. Battery keeps going dead and the “Service Battery Charging System” light is illuminated. I replaced the battery, alternator, and battery sensor. Also checked the battery sensor 5 amp fuse and it was fine. Battery is reading 12.8 volts when charged and alternator is reading 11.70 volts. I replaced the new alternator with another new alternator and it’s reading 11.37 volts. No corrosion on the battery terminals or wires.
Car goes into limp mode after running for 20 minutes and the battery goes completely dead. Technician at the car parts store used his meter and it says the battery is fine but needs a charge.
Why won’t the alternator charge the battery?
I appreciate any advice.
