Hey Brian. Great thread, I must say. Really love the detail you put in and the time it took. I just replaced my turbo and all the coolant and oil lines this spring. I'd been babying the car around town to verify all new parts were holding and once satisfied I rotated the Cruze back into my daily drive long trip duties. I just had the P2261 code thrown while driving over the road. Found this thread which put me on the right path. Is this the valve you're referring to?. The first one I found stated the car needed a tune before the valve could be used. So I felt like this was the most likely candidate. View attachment 303199
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I DID have to replace the turbo as it lost an oil seal on the exhaust side of the bearing and was belching smoke. New turbo cured that and everything was great and snappy again up until that DTC came in. I do believe it popped right after I stepped on it to duck out for a pass on a two lane highway and I felt the car stumble and acceleration got soft.
Did your P2261 code go away after replacing with the "Forge Motorsports 1.4T Recirculating Bypass Valve"? I changed the solenoid but the code came back the next day.
