My chevy cruze delivered with an android stereo. Easy to use but the factory DIC Language was changed to Japanese.
No idea how to reverse it to English...

We would need more information. Any friends that read Japanese?

 

 

Try "photo translator" app. It could read what's on the screen so you can change the settings....

 

What year is it?

The radio controls language on the newer models so that’s problematic...

You need the OEM radio to change the language. That is the only way.

did anyone resolve this yet same thing happened to me

 

Have you been able to fix this problem? My car has a carplay system installed, which is still in English, but the actual display of the car (where the odometer and speedometer is) has turned Chinese

 

Just guessing, but it seems as if the output from the radio may be causing the language shift. I would look long and hard at the settings for your newly installed radio.

 

I have the same problem on my 2012 Chevrolet Cruze (Manual). Has anyone been able to solve?

Fir me, I went to the Android radio home screen. From there I have two icons for settings. One is just "settings" , the other is "car settings". Go to "car settings", then go to "other settings". Then select car language. You should be able to set it back to English.

 

Provided you can read the language it is in, to find the proper icons.
