Went across multiple YouTube videos and forums for 3 hours and almost everything says to do different things and it is so confusing the way these people are doing it. I found a 1st gen cruze forum on CruzeTalk.com with a detailed step by step tutorial on how to do the coolant flush but what made me stop reading was when he put full concentrate antifreeze in the reservoir, now I know that it creates a 50/50 mix because he did not remove all of the fluid since he drained from the plug on the bottom of the radiator. However if I put in just full concentrate I do not know how much coolant the system could hold. The 1st gen Cruze holds 5.8 quarts for the 1.4L according to the forum, and quote "Since the system holds 5.8 quarts of fluid and opening the valve only drains 3 quarts, you should have 2.8 quarts remaining". According to the forum once you add 3 quarts of full concentrate it will be exactly 50/50 mix, I do not know how much quarts my 2017 chevy cruze holds so I cannot just put full concentrate in. Also I will have to jack up the car to get under it and that will mean 3 quarts will not come out of the opening valve since it wont be level, so if I dont know the coolant capacity and if 3 quarts of fluid is not drained out then if I put the cencenrate coolant into the reservoir it will not be 50/50. So what do I do? Is there a tutorial for the 2nd gen Cruze specifically for 2017.
