I own a 2015 Cruze LTZ and love driving it...most of the time. However, recently I keep getting two messages, "Service StabiliTrak" and "Service Traction Control". When those two warnings appear, immediately the engine skips and the car then loses a large portion of normal power, I have learned to temporarily remedy this by pulling over and turning the engine off for 12-15 minutes. Then it usually fires up and warning lights are off, full power is restored and I can continue the drive. If I make another stop where I need to shut off the engine, upon returning to restart is a crap shoot as to whether the car will run properly
This is quite maddening and I wonder if anyone has encountered this, and how much typically would it cost to have this corrected. Hundreds? Thousands? Service job? Serious repair?
Thanks in advance!
