FWIW every single car repair I've done that could have been done without doing something that most do has never worked out.

Autozone. used to have repair iinstructions on their website. Don't know if they still do. IIRC. They bought alldata.com. You could subscribe for one month fee of $20. Or look in to buying a Chilton/Haynes manual. Don't remember what name they're using. The 2 companies have merged. They also have a downloadable version if you order online. You can buy the manual from any parts store that sells them and has it in stock.

Yeah they’ve gotten crazy with their cost. I used to buy one every time I bought a different car. But now there are too many alternative sources to justify that cost. They are great manuals though. They paid for themselves many times over back then.

 

What did you end up paying? Oil pan is a must and it's not that much. Heres the estimate I got today for same leak. I'm getting 2 other estimates. I'm hoping to get it donr for around $1500.

 

@Mawinboss I am in Australia. Paid AUD1600 for oil cooler and timing cover gaskets. I provided the parts though.
