Hey guys! So I've been doing, in my opinion, a ton of work to my Cruze lately. I've been getting inspiration from you guys and just rolling with it. Since I'm only 18 and work part-time making pizzas at Home Run Inn, funds are limited so I'm still saving up to do a lot to my car, like a K&N CAI and window tint and all that good stuff. Lately, I've been putting more money into my other hobby, drumming! :th_dblthumb2: Thank God plastidip is so cheap because that's basically all I have been doing so far, besides my sound system.

So I washed her today because it was a beautiful day in Chicago and decided to take some pictures and do this thread. It's nothing compared to some of the Cruzes I see on here but it's coming along. I'm really happy with it so far and can't wait to see what the future brings.
I just want to thank basically everyone on this site. Literally everything I have done to my car I have found on here and can't be more thankful for being a part of such an awesome community! Cheers everyone!

**Excuse me if some of the photos are hard to see but I have a big tree over my driveway so it made for some bad shadows, oh well. All photos were taken with an iPhone 4s**

Basic Info
2012 LTZ RS 1.4T
20k miles, you guys know what comes with it
bought it in late March

Current Mods
Vinyl wrapped bowties in back and front
Dipped chrome window trim
Dipped wheels, added glossifier and peeled center cap
Dipped reflectors white
Dipped LTZ and Cruze badges
Blacked out spoiler
Dipped trunk chrome white
Interior door handle "Cruze" plates
12" Kicker CVR sub
SSL Evo 1500 amp (wanted to keep the stock radio)

Future Mods
Dipping chrome around grille
blacking out silver interior trim
possibly making bowties white?
VG shark fin
20% Tint all around
K&N Typhoon CAI
Halo headlights
blackout the roof (vinyl? PD? professional?)
Eibach springs (possibly)

Well that's it. It's not much but it's all I can work with for right now. I personally love my car. I couldn't be happier with it.
Let me know what you guys think!

Jack

Hmmm if you're part time and can afford an rs Ltz I'm in the wrong business.
I take it you live with parents and if that's the case, stay as long as you can! Trust me. Hehe

Looking good so far. The only thing I would have done different was keep the wheels the stock color. I think they look perfect with white.
If you like to change things up, why not try white dip on the wheels?

Nice job! Car is looking good.

I absolutely hate the dipped wheels sorry. The 18" stockers look beautiful in their natural silver.

I know your a kid working part time so I get the idea of cheap mods but so many people ruin their wheels dipping them to save a buck. Maybe it wouldnt be so bad if you had gunmetal dip or a light gray.

Other than that the car looks clean.

Yes I live with my parents still. I commute to school to save $10k in room and board. My payment is only $180 so it's not too bad for me. And yes, judging by the other responses, people really like the stock wheels. Don't get me wrong, I do too! But I think the black wheels on the white look really sharp and I don't plan on peeling it off. I might down the road try white, or a gunmetal finish or possibly even something crazy like red lol but I like the black for right now.

Yeah down the road I might try a gunmetal or even something like white or red. But I don't think I'll go back to the stock silver, I think the black on Summit White looks really sharp.

Nice job - I especially like the black spoiler.

Taking on it 's own personality pretty well , Good works man . Keep it up !
