Hey everyone! So I'm new to here. Got a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4 Turbo. So it has been leaking oil like crazy and I did a ton to it. Valve cover, timing cover, oil pan gasket, new turbo. STILL leaked oil. FINALLY I found out about the check valve in the intake and replaced it. Oil was in the throttle, intake, etc... NOW it doesn't leak oil. HOWEVER I hit the interstate today and the hose that goes to the throttle blew off. Would that mean that my throttle would be bad? If so, does it need a re-learn procedure? Please help :'(

Probably means the hose clamp wasn't installed properly.

I'm guessing you're talking about the hose from the intercooler to throttle body. I have my doubts if it's an overboost condition. If it was, I'd expect a check engine light with a code for overboost.

That's what I was thinking. Now the hose clamp wasn't tight. But now it lugs when I give it gas. But still no check engine light.

Because you had some much oil being pulled through the intake, the intercooler probably has a lot of oil in it blocking air flow. Taking off the intercooler air feed and discharge line to let the oil drain should be enough to fix it up.

I never thought about that. I appreciate it!!! This car has given me HELL. But I love it!

Would that cause it to stutter when getting up to speed?
Its been known to happen. You're not the first to have your intake flooded with oil because of a PCV system failure.
The oil gets moving around under boost, and messes with the air flow. As I mentioned, if you drain the intercooler you probably be good to go.
