Hello there Peeps, I recently bought 2014 Cruze 1.8L Z-Line AT, I am getting average of 8kmpl / 12L/100kms. I am based in Australia and here we have moderate temperatures (15-30°c) should I show it to the mechanic or is it okay? I am worried cause even on full tank my odo shows me range of 430kms. Please let me know your opinions, thank you mate in advance 🙌🏼

Pull the plugs and do a compression check. Weak compression will kill econmy.

There's also another factor. We won't go into that. Some only get 30mpg. While the rest of us get 46mpg.

My truck is the same way. Some of us get 26 while the rest get 18. I've seen some that get as low as 13.

Some will say your foot plays too. But my aunt and I drive the same way. We have the same motor. She don't get what I get.

I am mostly on light foot, and in my prior cars(Hyundai i20 and Honda City) I have got decent above average mileage. I don't know what's the issue with this one. Well, let me do that compression test ASAP. Thank you mate 🙌🏼

Well, I'd say you should be getting about 150% the fuel mileage. The reason for this could be anything from a bad wheel bearing to a bad sensor. The first thing I'd do is give it the once over with an OBD2 scanner. Check for codes, pending codes, and positive fuel trims.
