Hmm, I might be in for the catted versions the next time they go on sale. Maybe...

I spoke too soon. Time to datalog and send them in to Vince... I'll do the logs tomorrow morning and hopefully be able to get it updated within the week if Vince isn't too busy.

Sounds like a nice bump in performance, let us know the impact on fuel economy too. I am in NY and close to NYC so I have to comply with the emissions requirements - thinking about the catted versions too - but no rush and they need to be on sale before I pull the trigger.

any benefit in MPG or power from the install? i'm looking for something more than just the sound..

For anyone planning to install either (or both) of these exhaust pipes, you should use a new gasket as well. The part number is 13252501, it will cost you about $2 at your local Chevy dealership.

ZZP claims gains of 8whp from the O2 housing (downpipe) and 4whp from the catless mid pipe. Pretty significant gains considering the 1.4L makes about 110whp stock. These should also yield gains in fuel economy as well but there is no hard numbers for that...

Good call, I forgot to mention I had to buy those- they don't come with the pipes! Not sure why I thought they would, lol.

My bad Steve, I should have mentioned you too! I just bought mine straight from ZZP because they were having an unbelievable sale at the time but anyone else interested should look to ISM who is a supporting vendor of this site.

Quick question... does the stock muffler stay quietish even with the catless dp/mp combo? I'm looking to do an intake/tune/dp/mp, and want to hear the turbo whistle, but don't want a catback type exhaust note or drone. So can you just hear the intake and turbo whistle, or does the exhaust note increase as well?
