Good afternoon, I’m new to this community so I’m not sure if there’s been an answer to this however, I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.4L LT (oil cap on the front right of engine when looking at the hood) I have 84k miles just recently did my oil change maybe at and I’m having the great misfire issue. I’ve opted to work on my own vehicle after working at dodge for awhile, I’ve replaced spark plugs twice, the oem coil pack had a slight tear I found when replacing them the first time so I replaced it with a non oem one because I felt oem was just not great. So I replaced those within the last 4 months and it was fine for the whole time. However, for the last 3 weeks our so since it’s gotten warmer and I goto my car to goto lunch I’d get in and it would be misfiring. I wasn’t sure for awhile then said okay maybe my fuel injectors are bad and changed them out this past Tuesday. Was fine for 2 days and not it’s back to misfiring so I’m not sure what’s next. I’m not going to Chevy and paying $190 just for them to look at it so I’m really banking on this has happened to someone else that can help me out.
thank you all in advance I just cannot keep putting money into it and hoping it might fix it if that makes sense.

Well, I can help you. The first thing is that a new ignition coil can be damaged very quickly with bad wiring.
The ECM grounds each coil to fire it. The ECM has 3 wiring harness going to it. Using a can of electrical contact cleaner and a tooth brush, clean all the connector female spots. Also, clean the ECM pins. Keep in mind you probably have one bad/corroded pin. I'd even use a magnifying lens to look for a blackened connection. Again, just one might be your issue.

Do this and get back to us. 👌

Welcome to the forum. I'm not the member to solve your issue but you have come to the right place. CT has saved me $$$$ in repair labor thanks to very generous and innovative members. Say hi in the new member thread and list your car/engine in the member details to get the best responses.
Check out the "how to" tutorials and use the search bar to access 10 years of cruze repair history(including many misfire threads).
How long have you owned the car and sounds like the misfire has been happening for a while? Have a cel code? Do you use a code reader or obd2 adaptor w diagnostic app?
imho from a diy hacker, think about fuel/air mixture, maybe unmetered air(leak) triggering the computer to increase fuel %. So even w new plugs, coil, injectors.....
If there is an air leak, what caused it- pcv system fail is very common at your mileage and will happen to all 1.4 engines.
Do you have any oil leaks as this will point to pcv probs.
