So after 34,000 miles, my stock Firestone tires were pretty much junk. I plan on getting rid of the cruze soon so I didn't wanna go all out on tires. But, I did want something that handled well, especially in wet conditions. I was going through Discount Tire's selection of stock size tires and came across the Falken Ziex ZE-512's. The tread pattern looked as though it would handle water very well, something the Firestone's definitely didn't excel at. I figured at $75 a tire, i wouldn't be getting a whole lot. Man, was I wrong. These tires are great! Dry performance is phenomenal. The Cruze feels like a completely different car. I can go through water puddles without the slightest misstep. They not only handle great, but they are sooooo much quieter. I hated the road noise of the cruze. These tires make a world of difference. Granted, there are wayyyy better tires out there, but for the price, I don't think you can beat these Falken's. My total came out to $430. Only thing I see is that they aren't on the Falken website. So I'm assuming they discontinued them. But there are plenty of Discount tire's that still have them in stock. All in all, great tire. Worth the money
