How to tell if valves are bent

My roommate who has been around garages most of his life watched YouTube on how to replace head cover on my 2014 1.8 L like 5 or 6 times waiting on parts. Once together no compression of pistons and now being told valves are bent. What could be an indication of that without taking head gasket off

Welcome to the forum!

Put an endoscope the spart plug holes and look at the valves.

But if there's no compression the head will likely need to come off anyway.

I did how do I post as a veteran

I do not have access to endoscope all I know is it seems like combustion is coming from intake side of piston
