Hello everyone I have a 2015 Cruise diesel and lately when I shut the ignition and leave the car the radio stays on sometimes until I come back 20 minutes later. Sometimes it shuts off the moment I reopened the door. Has anybody else had this issue?

I have not. I know the radio will stay on for about 10 minutes normally unless you open a door. It is possible that the "door switch" is bad. I am not sure where it is located though.

So I watch the video on youtube. You pull the entertainment system fuse wait about 30 seconds and then plug the fuse back in and that seems to reset the infotainment radio equipment. And it worked. Thank you everybody hope this helps other people.
Thanks for coming back to tell us the solution. Do you have a link to that video?

It is the door switch which is part of the power lock actuator (all together on part). If your car thinks the door is shut, the radio will stay on. When the switch first fails it is intermittent, then it usually gets worse.

That is nice an infotainment reset on a GMC pickup solves an unrelated problem.

Hey everyone. So the issue came back. I took it to the dealer, because my window regulator broke on my drivers door. I had them check the radio issues. It turns out the wiring harness for the door locking security system was corroded and was the cause of the problem. Hope this helps others. Thanks.

So I've added these two pictures to show what the problem is. It really isn't even the door harness as it is the contact block that the door harness plugs into. You can see by the first picture towards the bottom all the contactors are completely green and corroded and when the door harness attaches to that there is no good contact for the electricity to send a signal to turn the radio off. So that contactor plate has been cleaned and it seems to be working properly now. So the door harness was not the issue. I hope this helps everybody. Thanks
