So my 2014 1.4L turbo Cruze had a leak in the thermostat housing which i replaced. I kept my car running with the cap off the coolant tank to allow air bubbles out of the coolant system. I had my car running about an hour and my engine wasn’t heating up to its usual temp so I pressed on the gas and after a min or so it warmed up but when I let idle for a few min longer it cooled itself down and I repeated that process again and it kept cooling down.I assumed the thermostat was stuck open so I took it to the shop and the mechanic isn’t finding an issue but is saying my car temp is running around 160. Is that something to be concerned with? It was fairly cold out that day but I’m not sure if the temperature outside has an effect on that
