Trying to identify possible timing cover gasket leak

Hey all,

The Cruze has sprung another oil leak. It appears to be leaking a few inches below the valve cover gasket where the timing cover mates with the engine. I have brake cleaned everything so these photos are without oil being blown all over by the wind. The leak is collecting behind the a/c compressor and then running down the front side of the oil pan.

With this being such a labor intensive repair I wanted to pick the brains of those who may have ran into this issue before. I do know the cam actuator gaskets are prone to leaking, but it does not appear to be coming from them, unless they leak and run through a path not visible.

The oil cooler gaskets have been repaired and it is not coming from it.

I also want to add that it leaks much worse when engine is cold.

Any advice?

Yeah if it was a small leak/seep like every other mating area on this engine I would leave it alone. Unfortunately it's leaving about a 4" puddle on the ground every night. I did install the PCV upgrade kit a couple years ago and reverified functionality today.
