So I have searched the web and found that our Cruzes have a water pump and water outlet. Trying to find the torque specs are hard as you will most likely find the specs for the WATER PUMP, but they say it's the same 71inch pounds than a 30⁰ turn on the second pass and only to 2 of the bolts...me personally I would just do the 71 inch pounds and drive a little see if anything is leaking if it is tighten very slowy little by little and check again....don't over tighten it is plastic and will crack...also when you try and search the part the water pump usually comes up....here is a picture of the original GM part number and AC DELCO number....
GM# 25193922
AC Delco# 15-11105
here is a link to where I got it....I've shared a link to the following product detail page of Advance Auto Parts that I think would interest you! GM Genuine Parts Engine Coolant Water Outlet 15-11105 - Advance Auto Parts
don't know if we can get this pinned or cloned or something....

....and if you'd search a little harder, you'd find that there are metal outlets available now, too.....along with metal Tstat housings. GM wouldnt do it, so the aftermarket did.
I seen them and heard nothing but bad things....I hear they don't sit right, I hear they leak down at the bottom, I know they come with warranty but I don't want to have to keep changing it out.....also I posted that because I seen a bunch of posts about people including myself looking for the torque specs, or asking if they were the same....but thank you....

You're thinking of the RacerX outlet. Yes, they had a batch that had issues. I owned one, it leaked, I returned it. So did others. I understand those were repaired.

Im talking about one like this: https://www.amazon.com/CNRAQR-25193922-Aluminum-Compatible-2011-2020/dp/B0BVVMBQ7M/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3PXOFIXDYZ3YH&keywords=1.4+coolant+outlet&qid=1687102059&sprefix=1.4+coolant+outlet,aps,113&sr=8-5

As another member said in another thread, try to find one with a metal nipple on top for the overflow hose.

and the Tstat housing: https://www.amazon.com/WMPHE-Thermostat-Compatible-2011-2016-Replacement/dp/B0C1Z4NJ55/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1X4YZNIY4XSK3&keywords=1.4+metal+thermostat+housing&qid=1687101437&sprefix=1.4+metal+thermostat+housing,aps,153&sr=8-1

Those are infinitely better than the plastic ones.

Also, upgrade the overflow tank to the Dorman with the metal reinforcements: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-603-383-Coolant-Reservoir/dp/B00NF1QZO6/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2Z99NK6YNYUO0&keywords=1.4+overflow+tank&qid=1687101977&sprefix=1.4+,aps,179&sr=8-8

Swap out the 220* Tstat for the 180* Caddy Tstat 1.4 ECO - Thermostat Swap - 221°F to 176°F!

Do all that, and any coolant issues with the Gen1 Cruze should be solved.
These are simple, inexpensive modifications that should be done anyway.....
I agree and thanks for taking the time to send me all that....I will be doing that....also off topic quick question....how do you know if your accelerator pedal position sensor is bad??? ThNks
