Anyone know where the crossover occurs for the Front MidSpeaker and A-piller Tweeter on the 2015 2LT (6 Speaker System) ?
Is it from (within) the factory head-unit? Or are there inline highpass / lowpass filters in the stock wiring..

(These schematics I got from Chilton are pretty darn useless.. well they are not giving me the information I need. I'm trying to get my install planned out before I starting taking the car apart. Hopefully someone knows the answer to this inquiry, so I don't have to wait until I have a day to start the install to then hook up a RTS to test the signal from each set of wire to see which might be low/high/band pass... and then trace each wire to find a filter if there is one..)

I believe the crossover is nothing more than a capacitor in series with the tweeter. It's probably packaged as part of the tweeter itself, so it won't show on the schematics.

It's a pretty common arrangement. The cap keeps the bass out of the tweeter, and the woofer just doesn't work well at higher frequencies.

That is correct. They both use the same output from the radio, and there is a small capacitor on the tweeter.

The 6 speaker setup doesn't have a front center speaker,
But as far as I know, on my 2011 Cruze Eco, the door style speakers are pretty much added on, without any crossover.
If there was a crossover, it would function somewhere between 1k and 2.5kHz; but the door style speakers really need one that functions from 3.5-4kHz.
