Got my new 2017 chevy cruze redline a couple days ago. Very sharp vehicle drives great with improved rear suspension.

Unfortunately that's probably not going to happen. It would be cool but unnecessary. If they wanted a daily driver with a little more under the hood, better exhaust and tune then they wouldn't have dropped the SS. It's a sad thing but people don't really look for performance when buying GM models. It's all about functionality. If anyone is really interested in performance then they'd be going for a camaro or vette, which are and always have been affordable sports cars.

Big sedans are not popular only because of the SUV, CUV craze and cheap gas prices. A take a large sedan any day over CUV/SUV. . I don't need anything that large so I didn't buy a Impala. However the new regal tour x is very interesting to me. It can haul plenty of stuff. You can actually put stuff on the roof without a ladder. I'm sure it can tow my seadoo and ATV trailer without a issue. I looked at the midsize twins but i'm not truck person. If buick positions this right it will give subaru some competition.

I saw my first Redline Cruze yesterday while getting a recall taken care of at the dealer on my Silverado. It was white too! It really looked nice. I have no problem with Chevy taking a basic economy car and dressing it up to look a little more sporty. Here are my issues with the Cruze Redline:
*No manual transmission option? Why? It's a sporty looking car and you can't even get it in a manual? Makes no sense!
*Cannot add the extra safety add-on's to it (i.e. blindspot monitoring, lane keep assist, etc). Why not?
*It would look really nice with dual exhaust ports on the back. How much more could that cost to run a second exhaust off of the muffler to balance the look of the rear?
*It looks like White, Black and Silver are the only color options. It sure would look good in red, wouldn't it? That one is less important than the first 3.

Thoughts?
