If your looking to make your cruze faster visit my page. I am selling all the aftermarket parts that were on my cruze. I was making 230hp and 260 ft/lbs of torque out of my 1.4 turbo with meth and e85 conversion and all the bolt ons. All my parts are for sale and I do paypal. Give me a call.

Code:
 K&N short ram intake - $150
ZZP Race O2 Housing/Downpipe - $175
ZZP Catless Midsection - $170
Flowmaster catback dual exhaust with chrome tips - $325
GMAF Methanol Injection kit - $250
4 bosch green giant #42 inectors - $190
Sir you are not pushing 230 hp or 260 ft/lbs with these parts.

Why would you bother trying to get that much out of a Cruze? My son has a 15 year old Commodore wagon with a factory 6 speed manual and a $600 LS1 edit has given it 305 RW HP. Wouldn't it be more fun to have a "Quick" old car to play with?

Just remember......
It looks like with Shawns post about the trans we can only build close to 200whp without getting deep into our pockets. Hopefully that FMIC from ZZP will be a nice gain after the normal bolt-ons and tune.
So what mods do you think will make 200whp possible while keeping the longevity of the car? And without killing the mpg's, i realize there will be a sacrifice to be made but I'm not stinkin rich.

Are you sure man? I think chrome exhaust tips add like 50+ hp and then it dual exhaust **** 100+ HP

I would buy with all the bolt ons and Vtuners larger turbo and meth injection 240 HP or 250 at the crank.I make 178HP/201lb TQ at the crank with just the Vtuners aggressive 93 octane tune.

Sometimes people just want to mod because people said it can't be done. I haven't done much to my car as I want it to be a reliable daily driver while I continue sinking money into the white car hoping it get me into the 12's finally.

It's true , you can not just expect to add on hp and leave it there , if your going for 300 hip plus , you need to put on a big break kit and do the suspension if you want a nicely rounded car , I've done a few mods to my mr2 tubby ,TOM's lifter cams , trd shocks and springs , HKS wastegate (dump valve) , k&n filter , HKS turbo timer . The car was also built at a date were no catilic was needed so it's fully decat , it's a import from japan . , what mods have you done to your scooby

Do you have a list of PIDS numbers for the ECM? I have a tools to read them, just need to know what PID number corrspondes to what and the conversion factor to convert raw data into engineering units.

But we're fairly limited by the transmission I think. I really wish we had a guaranteed number on how much it can REALLY hold before problems start occuring. So far 10k miles with ~3k on tune and it's solid...
I bet it is fun to find out what the limitation is, if you got deep pockets. My brother dragged a modified 240z sadly he stopped after he went to slicks, the extra grip of the tires started to pop axle shafts and transmission output shafts.

So expect to find out the hard way the mechanical limitations of the drive train. If you dont break stuff in the short burst of power you will just cook them with excess heat and pressures in the longer runs.

Please keep safety of yourself and others on your mind the whole time. A suddenly broken car tends to have a mind of its own when it is moving down the blacktop.

Original HP is 138,
Tune takes it to 152
Intake 6hp - 12?
Would be surprised if the exhaust increased it more than 3 - 5hp
The 138hp number is at the flywheel or 103whp the advantage tune from Trifecta take it to 152 whp.

I'm a newbie when it comes to Tuning and have spent some time researching the forums here for ideas on what to do. From what I've read, I've concluded that the following mods should be conducted to increase both HP and torque:

1. Magnaflow catback exhaust system when available.
2. Injen cold air intake.
3. Trifecta or Vermont tuning flash.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that stock drive off the lot HP on the Cruze is 135. With that being said, conducting the mods listed above, approximately how much HP/Torque increase can you expect to get?

Additionally, are there any other mods that I might have missed that can help out with performance as well?

Thanks ;)!
For all the money you would spend, you could probably find a decent Grand National or T-Type. They aren't holding on to their value like people think. The ones that hold onto value are completely stock. $ for horse power, the little v6 is second only to LSx motors.
I spent $1800 on my GN, it went from running low 13s to high 11s and I'm sure I had about another .4 tenths to take off my time with proper tuning. New turbo, chip and injectors, alky kit and cold air kit. Best bang for your buck.

Was on your Site Jerry last night instead of doing paper work. Very impressive numbers with the updated internals on your tubro and one **** of a great price! I will be contacting yourself after warranty is up (15,000km). Oh and once our dollar comes back a bit LOL!!!!
