Here are the two manuals:
2014: http://www.chevrolet.com/content/da.../nscwebsite/en/Home/Ownership/Manuals and Videos/02_pdf/2k14cruze 2nd print.pdf
2015: http://www.chevrolet.com/content/da...ebsite/en/Home/Ownership/Manuals and Videos/02_pdf/2015-cruze-owners-manual.pdf
A few of differences I came across:
- For normal service, the interval for both brake fluid and clutch fluid service has been reduced from every 150,000 miles to every 45,000 miles.
- For all service conditions, the interval for both brake fluid and clutch fluid service has been reduced from "or every 10 years" to "or every 3 years," whichever comes first.
- For severe service, the interval for brake fluid has been increased from every 30,000 miles to every 45,000 miles.
- GM now recommends a 0W-40 oil for the Cruze Diesel in extreme cold.
- The following line has been removed from the recommended fluids section: "ACDelco dexos1 Synthetic Blend is recommended."
- The following line has been removed from the recommended fluids section: "dexos2 is designed for use with light-duty diesel engines"
- The cooling system capacity for the Cruze Diesel has been increased from 8.2 quarts to 8.8 quarts.
- The following line has been removed from the vehicle care engine oil section: "Do not use other viscosity grade oils such as SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, or 20W-50."
- In the vehicle care engine oil section, GM now recommends an 0W-30 for extreme cold weather operation. In the 2014 manual, they recommended 0W-20.
