both of the drivers side tail lights are not working i pulled the light off and checked all of the wires and also checked the harnesses. the brake lights work but not the running lights. its the same thing with the light on the trunk too. the passenger lights work fine. any ideas?

Did you slam anything into the driver's side of the trunk recently? Have you tried swapping bulbs between sides? Does anything look loose, broken, or corroded?

Nothing was slammed into the trunk. Everything looks fine. I replaced the bulb with a new one. I didn't check the fuse because I didn't think each side would be on a seperate fuse. I looked in my owner's manual to try to find such fuse it was but it didn't have it listed

I had noticed (while searching for parking light fuses) that the BCM 1, 2 & 3 fuses in the interior fuse panel cover some or all of the exterior lighting. I noticed it was odd that pulling one of the fuses would disable one side of the vehicle and another fuse would disable all four corners. Might try these fuses.

I checked every fuse the other day even under the hood and they were good. Now my turn signals do not work on my drivers rear and on my passanger front. I think I'm going to take it to Chevy and have them look at it . Thanks for the info tho

i suggest removeing the light assembly and checking the wireing harness for voltage with a multimeter. if there is no voltage your harness has a problem somewhere. if its good check the wires on the light assembly for resistance with your multimeter with your bulbs installed. if there is resistance change your bulbs and try again , if thats good swap your bulbs from your working side to test the complete circuit. if all els fails take it to chevy , if your not interested in trouble shooting just take it there rite away.

I'm having the EXACT same problem.2012 cruze drivers side taillights won't work but all brake lights and everything else is working just not the drivers side taillights. checked the fuses and changed the lights. Does anyone have a working fix for this???? I'm in the same situation as the last poster as far as weather, here in Minnesota it's below zero and I'm not trying to be outside troubleshooting any longer than absolutely necessary.
