Details? Model, transmission, in gear, out of gear, RPM? Describe the shake...rough idle?

 

My 2013 auto trans car shakes as well. It's when the car is in drive and I'm stopped with my foot on the brake. It stops if I shift to neutral or put it in manual mode. To me, it feels like a car with an aftermarket cam and a stock torque converter. The degree it does it varies quite a bit.

 

There should be a transmission TSB out for your car.

I have been having a problem with that as well.. Took it into the dealer and they said no tsb for my car.

 

I was contacted today about this issue in my 14' cruze ls.. Was told that most cruzes do this because of the gearing for gas milage... Find this hard to believe.

 

Who contacted you? When I drove a 1LT Automatic for three days it didn't shake at idle.

 

Doesn't the transmission go into neutral when stopped with your foot on the brake? I have the 6T45 transmission in my Diesel and it idles really smooth and if facing uphill I experience slight roll back when I release the brake, but if foot is left off the brake car holds on minor hills.

P.S. Final drive is 2.66.

 

I also have some roll back when on a hill.. The car does not do it when in neutral or manual mode.

Idk I would assume someone from a dealership. I have a phone number that is local to me. He also said that the motors and transmissions in the different models preformed a little diff.
