50 miles after instal of axle 2 I find this after getting gas and putting air in the tires. OnStar said they can get me towed to the dealer and find numbers to local rental car agencies in my area. Remind me to cancel this service asap. Luckily the rental Car place is open in 2 hours.

Is the grease filled with black particles already like tire slime? The pics get super huge if you click them. The car went from dealer to home, home to work, work to gas station where I discovered this when bumping my tires back up to 42 psi.

I don't think it's a big deal, but I'd get it addressed as soon as possible. People drive with torn CV boots all the time. I believe it's usually the dirt getting in that kills the CV. I'd probably just drive it to the dealer if it was me. Of course, the faster you go, the more grease that will leak out, so take the slow route to the dealer.

3rd one of these I've seen now, improper CV boot installation. Theres a severe shortage of A techs in the world anymore. Most GM techs are 20 year old kids fresh out of highschool that could **** up an oil change.
2 of them are Ohio, :(

I feel a new recall coming soon.

"GM announces recall of faulty replacement axles. Axles could leak grease onto the exhaust system causing fire and certain death. As a sign of compassion and understanding. GM executives will be sacrificing their first born children to appease the recall Gods"
