Just an FYI this was a piston failure #3 cylinder Ring Lands only 50,000 miles all oil changes on time & services any suggestions what may have caused this ?

No, electrical. The 2013 auto transmission will not talk to the 2011 Engine control module. The motor itself is a direct swap to the 2011 transmission though.

Engine alone should be a direct swap. Keep sensors and stuff from the 2011.

Transmission will not, if automatic.

It's the same engine. You'll need to do a lot of configuration of the BCM and ECM to get the car to recognize the replacement engine however.
